Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open PlayDate and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice. Your account is deleted straight away.
Can't open the app? Ask us by email
Email support@joinplaydate.app with the subject "Delete my PlayDate account", from the email address you signed up with. We'll confirm and delete your account within 7 days. If you write from a different address, we'll need to confirm it's really you first.
What gets deleted
- your profile, photos, fandoms and cons
- your likes, matches and blocks
- your messages, including in other people's chats
- your sign-in details and notification settings
What we keep, and for how long
A few records are kept for safety and legal reasons:

| Database backups | Up to 30 days, then overwritten |
If you delete your account with no open reports about you, we keep no fingerprints and you're free to join again later. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
